    PWC fuel consumption numbers in one chart

    Dear Friends,


    we've collected some available fuel consumption numbers into one chart.
    (Yamaha, Sea-Doo, Kawasaki)

    im not sure where you got all these numbers, but considering the gp1800 is lighter and has the same motor as the fx, the WOT burn should be the same, and mpg should be higher on the GP since it is lighter.

    Thank you for your feedback, these numbers come from several different sources including Boattest, Boatingmag, Boatingworld and PersonalWatercraft.com. We will investigate this GP vs. FX consumption numbers issue asap.

    When you are getting data from different online sources, you should be referencing (and linking) to those sources in your report.

    Different test conditions and different test methods will provide different results for the exact same watercraft. Even testing the same individual watercraft with the same test methods on different days can produce different results.

    Your comparison reports should include an explanation of how test results can vary and that none of the test numbers are absolute or exact. And that different riding conditions will create different results, especially for fuel consumption.

    Perhaps more useful would be to list a range of fuel economy ‘expectations’ for each model.

    Also I do not believe the seadoo spark numbers one tiny bit. EX is close to mine.
