How to check compression. Leak down needed??
I’m new to the ski world and especially Yamaha. I want to check compression on my 2009 VX1100. Does Yamaha want the plugs grounded while cranking? Do they want plugs removed? Hot or cold engine? I have a quality OTC tester but my service book hasn’t come in yet. Is it worth doing a leak down test? 850 hours. Runs fine.
