The real gel coat color for the 310R shell ?

    Hi Everyone,

I bought my kawasaki 310R only a month ago, and since its my first one... I did some bad moove while making it out of water.. And I did some scratch under the shell...

So I brought back my ski to my suppliers here in france (sorry for the bad english btw..), and Im shocked that he clrealy told me Kawasaki does not communicate on the exact color they use for the gel coat ?!

They dont even sell anything in order to repair this (they could sell their own gel coat isnt... but no).

So I would like to know if anyone got same situation as mine and how you did to manage this ??

    Thanks guys

I cannot endorse the company or product as I cannot say I have experience using them, for the 2019 310R, the color codes were listed as:

    https://www.colorrite.com/wizardresults.cfm

Code Paint Name Comment Color Chip ColorRite Top ColorRite Base
    602 / H8 Ebony Black 3005
    777 Lime Green 3051

Just make sure that you're sitting down when you buy ColorRite paints! They're expensive!

    Thanks a lot guys !

I sent them an email, but It seems they do not ship to france

Really its a shame kawasaki (and yamaha) just not communicate about the color code they use or just sell their own gel coat / protocol...

Is it the black or the green that was scratched?

This site has up to the 2018 paints, the color code matches:

    https://www.rsbikepaint.com/fr-fr/sh...setlocale=true -- H8 - Ebony
    http://www.rsbikepaint.com/fr-fr/sho...setlocale=true -- 777 Lime Green

I'm not a paint expert, perhaps the Kawi dealer can advise if the motorcyle paint colors are the same as the PWC colors. Hopefully you can find a means of getting the paint touched up!

Hey ! Nice found! thanks !

It is under the shell (so only black color). However, do I need gel coat for this part ? or paint ?

The suppliers told me its gel coat since they do not really have paint on the shell.. so we need the right gel coat color it seems right ?
