Fuel pump seal on top of tank how to get it on??
Wow it’s tight seal I can’t seam to get the fuel sender down sealed in to tank to put on that big plastic lock ring on any advice

last one i did got slathered up in two stroke oil

I prefer some general purpose grease to oil, it limits the mess and how slippery thing get. While I don't recall with certainty, I think it goes together easier with the seal on the head rather than inserted in the tank.

Got it simple. Gasket goes on tank first. Then sender unit down into tank
