Oil change interval in shop manual?
My 2011 GTi 130 shop manual says to replace the engine oil & filter once a year or every 100 hours. I feel like that is way too long? I usually just get it replaced after the summer season (50 hours)... am I doing it too early - could I leave that oil in over the winter and continue using it?

Read the part once a year. It is once a year( every season, even if you only put 10 hours on it). If you put 100 hours a season on a ski the you should change it min two times. If you have a supercharged unit you should change it more often. I believe you should change it more often. Clean in clean out. I change my own skis every 15-20 hours, way overkill, but I've seen inside of too many engines that were neglected. I only put around 20 hours on mine, but we only ride one at a time and I have three. Use a high quality synthetic oil like Amsoil. BRP oil is crap. Over maintenance on a seadoo never hurt it, just makes it last longer.
