    '17 vxr thru hull

Hey everyone! I have a quick question. I just gone done installing the Riva thru hull exhaust (I think). What a pita! I ordered it through the Green Hulk store. Anyways, I'm not sure the fitment is correct at the water box. I can feel a gap through the sleeve between the water box and the exhaust tube. All the clamps are tight at the water box and at the exhaust outlet. Am I ok to run it like this? I did rotate the water box slightly but I know the exhaust tube and water box do not meet. Thoughts?

How big is the gap? As long as the coupler is securely clamped on both the water box and exhaust tube it shouldn't be an issue.

I'm gonna say the width of my thumb at the most. The coupler is securely clamped. When I put my hand thru the exhaust port there is also a gap as I can feel the inside of the coupler.

Those both will be fine. Just leave the vxr on the trailer for a few minutes when you go to launch it to make sure your gasket/sealant is good for the exhaust outlet as well as backing plate and you aren't taking on any water.
