    I went from a 98 seadoo gsx (951cc 130hp) to a 2017 gtr-x 230 and man oh man it's awesome. I couldn't go back to a 2 stroke now.

No one asked if the VALVES have been done. Sure its a Riva STage 3 but did the original ownder replace the valves? Also did they do the flywheel bolts?

If not, both have to be done right away or else it will go boom in short order.

Also needs a supercharger rebuild , been sitting for 2 years and how many hours on it before that.

If none of the above have been done, your looking at over another $1000+ to get the machine ready to ride,

So if none are done, either the owner drops the price another $1000 or you have to add that to the cost.

As Imp0ster said, mods add no value, Stock commands the same price. The only value in a modded ski is selling the parts.
    Good luck.

I bought the ski. It has never been in salt and it seems like the hours are very low. I'd like to play with it but I'm not sure about the valves or the flywheel bolts and feel like I could be holding a hot potato. I think it may be a quality build but an early build before you guys figured out all the failure points. What can you tell from the pics?

    Does look well done.
Whats the button and LED for?
Can you ask the previous owner if the valves and flywheel bolts were ever done?
The supercharger intake is just a short velocity stack? or is that a 4 inch adapter with no intake on it?
Check the Groco water strainer at the back for cracks, if its cracked, replace.

Interesting OPAS delete...I have never seen that ...I wonder if it has any effect...How does it run?

There is a plastic air inlet piece that goes on the supercharger that has air coming in from under the back of the seat. I don't know what the button and LED are for the PO said he thought it had something to do with that fuel pressure stuff. He bought the ski like this himself years ago(minus the sponsons) and did not have any specifics for me unfortunately. I have not run it yet but I picked up a new battery yesterday. I want to get the old gas replaced with 93 and then I'll fire it.

The OPAS block offs are a huge improvement over 70 mph. You will plane faster, cut through Chop straighter, and will be able to lean into turns for harder cornering. They also help keep the ski from porpoising above 70 mph.

Good call on the strainer cracks.

It seems to be overfull on oil.

That's nice to know about the OPAS block offs.

Is there anyway to tell if it has the better valves by just pulling the valve cover?
