    Standalone crank trigger yamaha 1.8

Anyone using a crank trigger for a 1.8 yamaha? If so where is it mounted? Does the FZR have a crankshaft position sensor.

Interesting. I mocked one up on my big bore ski. Mount the trigger off the stator cover bolts. Now you can go two ways. Drill and put magnets in the coupler or weld a modified msd wheel to the coupler. This way you can run a stand alone ecu harness. You need to run a shielded wire to eliminate emf noise.
