    Dedicated Intercooler Dump

How are you guys doing your dump line routing? On my 18' px the line coming out of the intercooler T's into the water line that feeds the exhaust manifold. Do you disconnect where it T's into that line and run the dump off that? Is there a write up on this, ive tried searching but only got small info with some diagrams that I have a hard time making out how its actually routed.

    Your seeing it wrong.
    Stock routing is:
Jetpump to T piece and from T piece to IC and manifold.
Outlet IC and outlet manifold goes to a 2nd T and from there overboard through the flushing connection at the back.

Skip the outlet T piece and run dedicated line overboard for IC.
Open up restrictor washer between jetpump and pumpshoe to obtain more flow.
How much depends on where your riding, cold or warm climate.
Monitor your air inlet temps after IC to see the results.

Does the intercooler still get flushed when running on the hose if its routed that way?

What are you guys running for fitting size? 3/4? I like this fitting in the store but no info on the sizing. https://www.4-tecperformance.com/ind...roducts_id=793=

You can use that one its 3/4.

The incoming T is also internal restricted towards IC. You can drill that one out to. But be carefull not to loosse too much flow towards exhaust cooling.

Don't use T fittings if possible. Use Y unions

In this case wouldn't I just be disconnecting the T fitting and running a straight through fitting in its place and drilling a hole for the through hull fitting for the intercooler dump? Or do you mean to replace the factory T fitting that supplies the intercooler and exhaust from the pump?

As suggested an Y would flow even better.

But again be carefull not starve water to exhaust system.

I ordered the fitting I needed, just wanted to make sure I was doing it right. I may go ahead and do the Y junction at incoming line while Im at it.
