Have taken mine out once and it was pretty accurate. End of the day it said 45% left and I dumped 9 gal in easily and it went up to right to 99%

    I bought 2 new 2019 FX Cruisers.
Both have the exact same problem.

There is a fix for this. I did it and it works. Take your fuel bucket out and bend the bottom part of the fuel arm down about 20 degrees. You have to keep the float completely flat as it is before you bend it. Now the fuel alarm goes off when it has about 2-3 gallons left and the percentage left matches what was burned. I burned gal. The other day and it showed 33%

With the 20 degree bend in the float arm is the fuel gauge also (more) accurate when the tank is well above 1/2 full?

I had 38% fuel left in the tank and the gauge said 12% remaining, with alarm sounding some time before that.

Wtf! 16 thousand $ for a ski and they can’t even get the gas gauge to work right?
How long have they been making the same 18.5 gal tank? I mean, how much practice do they need?!!

Yes. Again, the key is to keep the float level when the arm is all the way down. It showed 50% with about 10 gal. Used.

Buying a FX Cruiser tomorrow. Doubt the dealership would do anything about this from the get go. If I get too annoyed Ill try bending the float arm down a bit.

There is a fix for the fueling check valve issue though. The check valve simply slides right out from the write up I saw in the watercraft journal. Probably will make the fueling a bit easier even on the water.

I rode my wife's 2019 FX SVHO cruiser and the dash would change a few percent as I rode like 48% to 50%. Not a big deal. No alarms yet. The ski gets topped off before each ride.

I just purchased a 2019 FX SVHO and have put about 5 hours on it. I can confirm that I have the fuel level gauge problem also. It goes from 100% full on the gauge down to alarm with about 8 gallons used.

Other than that, the ski is amazing.
