    bilge pump questions

Just got my new 2019 RXTX 300 -- Anxiously awaiting the flood waters to recede here on the CT river (too much debris to ride safely). I'm getting ready to add a bilge pump but have a couple of questions for those of you that have put one in with a 2018 or newer ST3 hull:

    1. Where did you mount the pump? -- I'm thinking of two spaces -- (1) just below the battery and (2) further back to the left of the center tunnel.

    2. did you put a switch and if so, where did you mount the switch? I really don't want to take the seat off to get to the switch and I am thinking mounting a switch in the front storage bin on the left side.

    3. where did you put the through hull fitting? The logical place is on the left side but that would basically drain into the footwell. Not enough clearance on the outside above the waterline to be a safe placement in my opinion.

I've seen a couple of videos and don't love all of the solutions that I have seen (like draining through the cap for the ski pylon (which I plan to use).
