    2019 RXTX engine access screws

Just got my new 2019 RXTX! Can't wait for the weather to improve enough here in the northeast to let me go for a ride and start the break-in. Thanks for all the advice so far-- found a loose hose clamp and loose mount for the siphon tube while going over the ski.

Annoying that they make it so time consuming to open and close the engine access cover. anyone do any mods to make access faster? Also, any good sources for extra M6 x 50 screws and nuts? I'm pretty sure that some of those will fall into the water at some point. The two in the front are a real pain in my opinion.

Not a mod but using a drill to remove the bolts is definitely quicker than using a ratchet. Just in case you weren't using a drill already haha.

I agree! Drill makes quick work of it.
If you ever lose a screw or nut the GreenHulk OEM store has any replacement part you need for your new ski.

Agreed, I even purchased a compact, battery powered screwdriver for my onboard toolkit should I ever need to remove the cover away from home.

Can't understand the logic of those first two screws having the locknuts. First time I removed the cover i dropped one and spent the next 20 min trying to fish it out. will definitely order some M6 screws and washers.
