i used to spend a boat load of money jet sking, but age and gas prices and other bullshit made me not ride very much anymore. i have limited time i can devote to the hobby so i just want to push a button and ride. no more motor rebuild or mods.

my ski does 74 if i do a little racing it takes like a week to recover. if i am going to putout that much effort to ride something it will be my wife. i would say it cheaper in the long run but i am not sure about that (how can you have a whole closet just for shoes?)

Is it just possible that skis are being built better and better. Kinda like cars. I used to carry jumper cables and fan belt and tools in my car. Not any more, really no need.

Skis are as quick as the factory can make them. Heck, even my GTX 230 is so quick I have to hang on and still feel myself sliding back.

I am hoping skis are built better with better parts from the factory.
