Possible to change 4tec coolant from green to pink?

My 2011 Sea Doo GTI 130 has green coolant and hasn't been changed in 8-9 years. It only has 60 hours. I am finally going to change it but i bought pink xps coolant instead of the green coolant. Is it possible to flush everything out of the engine block and ride plate and replace it with the longer life pink coolant? I live in northern Ontario Canada and the weather in the winter goes to about -40C on a bad day in the winter so i want to use the best coolant that wont freeze.

just follow manual procedure for coolant change, then fill it with water, run the engine, then drain it again and fill with new coolant.

use some care iof the drain plug in the ride plate has never been out

don't run the engine too long on the hose without cooling the pump and carbon seal.

I typical run the engine in some three mionutes sessions till its warm enough ( pull the expansion tank cap off)

I use my candoo to monitor engine temps during the warm up.

    no worries

Until it drains clear like water

I suggested to run on purely distilled water for a few hours to actually flush the system and dilute it. Then drain the water and fill with the pink stuff. When you flush it on the land, you wont get all of the green coolant out of the machine.

Read someplace that using distilled water is the worst thing to use

    Really shocking

Donít leave it in there for too long

Search for details as to why itís not desirable

Turn out softened water is the preferred type
