    2008 Fx Sho supercharger

I purchased this ski about a year ago. I am only able to go about 40 mph. I think it is the clutch that Iím going to replace. While I have the supercharged apart, is there any other maintenance that should be done?

If your replacing the clutch you will need a new gear set for the later style clutch, a new oil pump, gasket also needed and worth changing the oil as well.

What is the later style clutch? Should I not just replace it with the same clutch? Also do you think I should replace the oil pump? I have read that the yamaha oil pumps are pretty reliable.

The old style clutch is no longer available, which is a good thing. They were weak. No need to replace your oil pump.

These are the needed parts with the upgrade clutch/drive gear for your older ski. The tool is just optional. You can get by without using the tool by removing the venturi nozzle, pump cone and then holding the engine from turning using the nut in the back of the pump.
