Where is air currently pulled from in order to feed the intake. Again, a little new and thanks for any replies.
On the ST3 hull, the only air-ducts are 2 4” tubes in the nose of the hull. Air comes in in front of the hinge for the hood through two opening that face rearward. The tubes run from there towards the nose and down the bottom of the hull and end right in front of the gas tank. See pics Click image for larger version.

I'm assuming it snapped the trimp ledge off from so much torque and not because it's made from chinese plastics. Only logical explanation. I put my holes more forward but same principal. 2, 2.5" so far. Might do two 3's in that same location\

i went from the kanaflex all the way to the front, to the direct filter 1' from the supercharger. i went from 73 mph at 7800 ish to 77 mph one bar down from full tank at 8060. and with the cap off it sounds sooo sooo sweet. with the cap on no change in speed or rpms. i am happy with this setup.
i am in tampa an it was 88 degrees out that day.

also i did remove the rubber nose cone, it kept riding up. and perhaps cutting my speed. i fluid film the impeller after each ride.

Is that the intake from JP performance? So with that intake and the ski pylon cap on, you saw 77mph at 8060rpm?
