    GP1800 Maptunerx Data Logger Instal

    Hi All,

Figured Iíd post some pics of my Maptunerx data logger install. I installed the kit that is sold here on the forum store plus the PLX DM-6 gauge. I wanted to be able to monitor my AFR real time even when I wasnít data logging so I figured Iíd try hooking up the DM-6 gauge the same time the Maptunerx was hooked up using the supplied splitter for the signal. Seems to work flawless so when I unhook the maptunerx and hook the instrument cluster back up I can still monitor my AFRís real time.

I asked Riva if this set up would work they thought it would but wasnít 100% sure.

I just used the instructions on the Riva website along with the instructions that came with the PLX. It's pretty straight forward you just split the signal from the PLX module with the splitter supplied with the gauge and connect one side to the maptunerx data logger cable and the other goes to the DM-6 gauge.

The silicone case comes with the ram mount ball already attached to it. I just purchased a base plate with ball to install on the waverunner along with the medium length extension arm.

It comes with the case and you assemble it yourself. Itís only 2 screws that mount the ball to the case.
