    spark 3 is the leanest
    spark 4 rich

im using riva stage 2 map

    What modifications?

    Cold air intake?

    Ribbon delete (with aftermarket sleeve?)

    Stock spark plugs?

    Anything else?

the engine is built with a used SVHO head and been sleeved in one chamber only .

head is tested no leaks whatsoever

ARP head studs + ARP crankshaft bolts .

i had this problem before my engine was damaged ( fuel is not equal to cylinders)
used same exact map (riva stage 2 map)

If the issue happened prior to the tear down, sounds to me like its just the fueling on the flash. This is a very common issue on the Supercharged Yamaha stuff, middle 2 cylinders always run leaner. I would contact jesus through email directly and explain this to him, im sure he can revise the tune for you. Is it an old flash or is it a flash that comes default with the maptuner x?

Very weird that they wouldn't have the center cylinders compensated extra, its almost common knowledge that the middle 2 cylinders run leaner due the intake manifold design. Center feed plenums (like on the SHO/SVHO) tend to favor the middle 2 runners due to TB placement. No biggie though id email jesus, i think his contact info is on the riva website. He's very helpful and responds rather quick, he's done several revisions for some seadoo skis ive worked on and experience with him has been awesome.

Could it be the riva fuel pump and regulator? I’m pretty sure these tunes are written using the stock pump and stock regulator. I’d contact Jesus. I’m sure he can cook something up for you

    well guys

i just want to clear things up .

im not blaming the tune provided by riva , im just trying to understand why would this happen ?

all i can say is that Jesus is really really helpful and a good guy.

after telling him the problem im having he sent me a revised map , which im great full for .

even before this he helped me a lot & listened to my endless questions.
