Thanks jim do I need to replace a gasket or can I just whip the cover off and check? Can I ask how I know if a cam plug came out or what the remedial action is? Can the plug be put back in? My first time delving this deep into the motor....

been looking at oaft diagram and dont see cam plugs listed in the cylinder head or al e assembly diagrams?

Would it happen to do it in open water only as the ski is moving or would it cause a oil alarm on trailer also ? Mine seems to be only when moving and giving hit more then 10-20% throttle.

I have used my gasket many times in the end of the cams there should be a plug,this is what can come out. These can be replaced with a threaded plug if the cams are removed.

Ive seen it happen wide open not on trailer. Gasket will be good just clean. Plugs are in front and rear of cams.

Thanks I will take the cover off and have a look, will running the motor without the cam plug cause long term issues or will it just throw oil alarms at WOT when pressure drops?

I just checked in mine and end caps are all in. Guess imma change sensor tomorrow and take it out Tuesday to test. Hopefully it’s just a faulty sensor. If not I’ll be taking the whole pump out for inspection.

I didnt even even get that far......just started taking it apart and the charger wheel is locked solid! Hoping it’s just the clutch dont want to risk more damage so looks like I need to find a shop to do the clutch and hope that’s all it was

SC wheel spins freely in housing now I have it off the motor
