    Red face rebuilt carbs on 1997 seadoo

    I rebuilt carbs on 1997 sea doo and now it idles to high . now how to adjust carbs, when you cant get to anything? any advice appreciated.

    take off the flame arrestor ( sorry about that) and get one of those flexible 90 degree screwdriver gizmos. The idle speed screw should be fairly accessible

    I assuming its a twin carb GTX 787. details helpful for more pointed advice

    If you didnt use genuine Mikuni kits to rebuild carb then you are wasting your time.

    If you want the carbs gone thru the "right way" send then to me & I will do them properly so all you have to do is bolt them on & go assuming there is nothing else wrong with the ski.

    Please post model & try to describe what its doing so we can better diagnois your problem....

    thanks friend! it would not stay running so while going through I backed off 1/5 turn on the screws that have the thumb pins thru them . taking that they were high speed jets. did i do something bad?

    Make sure you have some slack in the throttle cable.
