Performance parts(BOV) for RXP questions??
I am thinking of getting BOV for my RXP. Do you guys know what kind of BOV I should get and Where is the best place to buy the BOV??
Is it easy to install the BOV??
Also, I would like to get Riva stage 1. but,
Do you guys have any suggestions to start beside the Riva stage 1?
Is the impeler from Riva stage 1 good arleady?
I mean what parts are the most valuable to get for the first start in terms of performance.
Please I need help.
Thank you.

If you are going to get a BOV this is the one you want:

Save yourself some money off the stage 1 kit and build your own air intake (do a search on this forum) and then buy the Solas 14/19R and a Riva intake grate. Both of these are also available in my online store.

I will try to seach for the intake.
So, I need the Solas impeler 14/19R( which is also in Riva stage1)
Air intake, Intake grate and BOV.
Would these things do much differences to the speed?
Anyways, thank you.

I just got my new rxp today. I was going to get the stage one kit but now I might just build my own air intake and buy the other parts. Where is the best place to run the intake hose to keep it from getting water into the engine, or is the filter waterproof. sorry for all questions but i am new to this.

The BOV does nothing for performance. I don't recommend it either. Save your money and put it towards more valuable mods like maybe the Pro Series OPAS blockoff's, or some sponsons.
Guys, do a search for "air intake" and you will come up with tons of info and great ideas.

dre23 and ty are your skis broken into yet since you mentioned you are new to this?
break them in properly first then modefy your skis, you will also get bigger smiles on your faces when you ride your rxps for the first couple of hours stock going about 68 mph, then modefiyng them and going 71-72mph and more aggressive riding (changing sponsons,o.p.a.s etc..)
that is just my thought on this subject.
have fun

I have a 1999 stx with this same issue. It appears to have been "fixed"...
