GP 1300 2006 low top speed

    Nice greetings from germany!

I have a 06 gp1300 with 90 hours and only 100 kph on gps with:
    r&d ride plate
    r&d 1200/1300 intake grate
    d plate
    compression 105/115/115

Can somebody tell me why it is so slow?

How heavy are you? That's 62mph. Sounds about right to me.

Still the stock impeller? What is the condition of your wear ring and impeller? These can have a noticeable impact on speed.

the space between impeller and wear ring is on the one side max 1mm and on the other side is no space
    it looks good

Riva shows stock 65-66 mph, All testing performed with 1/3 tank of fuel, trim neutral, sea level elevation, air temp 80-degress F.: https://rivaracing.com/i-18244812-gp...age-1-kit.html

What altitude, water conditions, fuel level was your ski tested?

On flat water, less than 1/2 tank fuel, trim up, good running condition, most gpr 1200 or 1300 that I've tested myself are in the 62-64 mph range. I have gained as much as 1.5mph just by trueing the impeller.

Yes stock but i have the plate, intake grate...
the tank was under 1/3, i tried all trim positions and more different days with always smooth water 100kph was the best result ever 96kph the lowest result. yes stock impeller.
in germany we have min 95oc fuel

You could have a bent impeller blade, sometimes you cant really see it. I pull the impeller and set it flat on the workbench. Mark the edges of every blade at 1 inch (2 cm ) intervals, then using a caliper or precision ruler, check them all against each other and tweak as necessary.

62 mph GPs seems about right for most GP13R Iíve seen going. Variable would be the conditions and state of wear ring and prop. They are quick things in flat calm. Not so mich in a bit of chop.
