Turbo vs et142
Is anyone still installing turbos now that the et142 wheel is around?

Haven't heard of anyone in a while but turbo guys are pretty quite in general...probably balled up in a corner sobbing. Maybe that's just me.
I'd say you'll have 90% of the fun with75% less problems and cost. But if you ever rode a turbo ski...you'd think it's all worth it. Much over 80 starts to get pretty impractical except for super calm water and lots of room. Not to mention the danger factor goes up pretty high if something breaks and you get slung off...been there done that. But you can get to 80 real fast unlike most charger skis that start to run out of breath up top. Turbos' just don't have that problem at least in ski applications it seems. Put it this way a stage 4 TX went 5-65 in like 3.12 sec. That's faster than a flashed tx by a second...and a flash tx doesn't feel like a slouch at all.

142 will still not compare to a turbos potential IMO

or the cost and general lack of reliability. At some point you have to define success, if you want a super fun 80-85mph ski that rips hard to beat the 142. But yah my turbo ski (if running) would get from 60-80 a second faster than a stage 4 newer TX. But the cost of building and maintaining a turbo ski is not trivial.

Turbos will always make more power. Better have it tuned properly.
