Wear ring FZ / 155mm questions

I have ski apart to seal transom.

my sold 13/22r has some damage so will get that fixed..
the factory wear ring has some small groves and a daisies spot.. I have good pics but canít get forum to upload them.....so whatís the advantages and diss between solas all stainless or the IMPROS aluminum. With pressed in plastic liner.

I do ride ode rivers and shallow creeks at times. But so far damage is to impeller not housing/ring. The ring failed because it dissimilar metals..

Don't use plastic liner, best thing to do is check gap between liner and impeller blade when you put it back toghter.....slight groove is pretty typical

Ok so before I send prop off to be re worked and order solas stainless 155 ring...
cant I order a 160 prop, and a stainless 160mm ring? This will help cavitation and everything ? And I am replacing it anyway?

or does the swap to 160. Require a stator? Nozzle and stuff to?

No I am running a 160mm liner and prop. You just need to make sure you are making enough power to turn it or you will loose a lot of speed.

Is it just to buy a 160 liner and a 160 impeller and mount it?
Does it no matter that it gone a be difference in the diameter between this and the other parts?
    Some picture someone?

Just buy the 13/18 160mm impeller and 160mm wear ring and mount it. you will most likely lose speed and some rpm. you need power to turn it

if the impeller is touching the pump, just add a few millimeter spacer behind it (don't know the exact mm)

A 160 liner will load motor up more and slow ya down better go up on boost wheels or that 79mph will easly turn into 75 or 74 mph

you can also run less pitch....instead of the 13/22r use a 13/18 Concord...should run just fine with this prop and your combination. imho

Do I do something stupid if I machine the original up to 160 mm.
I know that stainless steel is much better! but just as a test?
