Angry Hose water not visible from port side spout, FX HO 2018

Hi GH community, I have always had water flow from my port side cooling water spout when running the ski on the hose out of the water. Today I could not see any flow, and the engine seemed to be heating up faster than usual based on touch so I shut things down after a couple of minutes to avoid any issues and I didn't want to trigger a cooling alarm.

I can't see any reason why this issue would have arisen suddenly out of nowhere, and I don't see or feel any obstruction in the hoses.

If I blow into the cooling spout I don't have any resistance.

But all the water is coming out of the transom area, with apparently nothing circulating through the engine.

I tried even taking some vice grips and blocking off the route of the T that does not go towards the engine, and even that did nothing.

    Any ideas greatly appreciated!

Try a broom handle at the transom discharge and see if that pushes water out the side pisser. You probably have some trash blocking the discharge port.

You can clamp the line to the pump strainer so you can get more pressure through motor. I do this when flushing for long than a minute or 2 have had ski on hose for 10+ minutes when trying to solve issues

Check the base of the flush hose where it meets up at the 4 way fitting. You might have a bend in it Remove cut .5 -1" out and reinstall.

Some people have reported that wasps had built nests in the pisser port and clogged it up with dirt. You might check that too.
