SVHO Milky oil
Just bought 15 SVHO and after 17 min of test riding it immediately shit..... milky oil....
Other than that no other signs engine was working good...no smoke...only top speed was 68 mph...thinking maybe a bit slow..?
Stituation is next:
Did bring back ski to guy that i bought it from he has service and is authorized dealer of YAMAHA.
He did gave me 6 months written warranty. Now he says that oil cooler went bye bye...he tried to pressure test it but he wasn't able because cooler cant hold pressure at all.....
Now my questions are:
1. If it is only cooler and he replace it .... how much engine damage is done in this 17 min. of riding it....
2. I would like to do compression test (what should be numbers on SVHO)
3. Afraid of cracked head or head gasket ... is there any way to hide this with some aditive for short time ( from his side)

Should be fine. You're going to have to change the oil several times to get as much water out as possible. If you're worried about a cracked head it can be pressure tested.

Well I had mine replaced just recently and it was no questions asked. I didn’t have milky oil though usually it empties all of your oil when they go bad. To me sounds like a cracked head. I have a 15fzs svho btw

Hope it is only oil cooler, if its not will return ski and ask for money back...
Cracked head is to expensive to repair especially here in EU.

I had the milky oil. Head gasket blew!! I also had the oil cooler the year before go but no milky oil then. Warranty fixed the oil cooler and the timing chain snapped when the head gasket blew so I was very lucky.
