    Rxtx 260 won't start after improper flush/Towed

I'm sure this has been asked before however I've spent near a month searching and still no closer to solving the issue, any help would be muchly appreciated -

    Background
    - 2011 rxtx 260
    - Ski has sat for a long period (6 years)
    - Started fine how ever ran rough, like it was limited.
    - Ran for 10min
    - Ever since it turns over but won't start since.

    What I've done
    - checked oil and was milky (highly possible from being towed or improperly flushed), I'm certain it has not been sitting for 6 years like this and it was clear before use.
    - have extracted oil/oil filter and replaced. My plan was to run the ski on this oil for a few minutes then extract and replace it again (however it won't start).
    - have replaced spark plugs.
    - Have tried giving it a hit of "start you bastard" which did nothing.
    - Have connected ski to Buds and shows no error other then low voltage (have not replaced battery yet but have been jumping it from another - could it be as simple as replacing the battery?)

By "wont start" do you mean it wont crank or it wont fire?

Sat for 10 years possibly with water in engine, very bad.
Check compression, look down the cylinders with a borescope.
I suspect the cylinders, pistons, rings are a mess.
Is it getting fuel? Pull the fuel rail and crank it to see if the injectors are spraying. Possible the pump screens have fallen apart and blocked the pump or injectors. Check for spark. Lots of things to check.

post a good video of it cranking, members will be able to tell from the sounds what you might be looking at.

layoff the starting fluid and jump pack.

dump a teaspoon of gas down each jug and see if you can get it to cough.

I'd second that the fuel pump isn't and the fuel in the tank is sour. The fuel in the lines was likely "good enough" for a start since it's not exposed to air

    Cheers for all the responses.

I'm certain it was not like this (water in oil) when it was left sit. It's happened in the last month or so.

To be honest I didn't drop the fuel but did fill it up with new. I is getting fuel - with the spark plug out if I hold the throttle and crank it squirts fuel - not sure if it's squirting enough but definitely is something coming out. Has spark and I've replaced the plugs anyway.

I pulled of the hose to the super charger today and was a far amount of water that came out. I put my hand over it and gave it a quick crank and is still sucking air.

    It cranks but won't fire

    I uploaded a video here

    Compression is good?

If compression is good, spark is good than it must be fuel delivery. I'd take out the injectors and give them a good pressure cleaning with some wd40. If the fuel had ethenol in it and sat for 6 years its probably nasty. Take the fuel pump out and see how the filter looks.

Would have been much better to siphon all the old gas out.

You say ran for 10 min, was this in the water? Salt water?

That knocking noise when it cranks is not good sounding. You say it squirting fuel out the spark plug holes when you crank it? Are you sure it fuel and not water.
Improperly towed? when was it towed? Was this after the 10 min ride ? Why was it towed?

Why is there a yellow rope on the engine?

Can you be more specific on what happened?

Personally Im thinking hydro locked and the timing chain is snapped.

    Thanks

Check the charger, maybe locking up and slowing down your cranking.

Ouch. Sorry mate that thing is in trouble. Sounds like a busted rod to me.

Yeah I would agree on either a broken rod or timing chain

Compression check easiest then pull the valve cover

It’s amazing what you can tell by listening to an engine crank
