Just wanted to say THANK YOU for everyone's help and advice. Update on 300 RTX

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for helping me and making suggestions to fix my 2018 RXTX 300.

Make a long story short, I couldn't get my stage III+ Riva kit on my 2018 RXT-X over 78 mph. We decided to put the ski back to a stock stage III kit (no repitched impellers, modified tunes, etc)

Real simple, installed the open loop cooling system, got a new canned 9200 tune (with cam settings), new 13-18 solas impeller, fixed a few things like apparently the map sensor was unplugged too.

Top speed in 60-65'ish degree weather, full tank of gas and a rider of about 185-190 (?) ran 84.8 on gps.

    Thanks again!

    Mark

Impressive. A TX I tuned with a Motec/142 charger/cam is seeing about 82 on back runs with a full tank, rider a bit heavier then you. Cooling doesn't seem to be an issue at least at 8600 rpm and 18psi of boost, stays steady between 175-180. Bone stock prop and not very aggressive timing. It's real speedy.

So you have a cam and a 135 wheel? Any idea what Boost/RPM your seeing? I'm guessing your up around 8900-9k with that prop to get to 85
