Tie Down Points for GP with Riva Exhaust

After reading the last few pages of Jerry’s GP build, I seen where a few people wanted or posted how there tying down there GP on a trailer with the Riva Exhaust.
Well here’s what I did last winter, it’s a easy modification to do so you have two tie down points on the rear. Just remove the swim step and drill a 1/4 inch hole on each bracket use a stainless bolt with a nylock, reinstall swim step with 4200 and presto your done.
Works like a charm on the California roads I travel on. Hope this helps someone who needs or wants two tie downs on the rear

This is what I did with mine It was really easy using the large hole drilled for the rear exhaust to reach in and install the nuts on the back side of the tie down

There os also nothing connected to the rear exhaust outlet either. You can see right into the hull.

I took the pic pic while doing the rear exhaust install. Reaching in through the hole for the stock exhaust helped get the silicone coupler on to the exhaust outlet
