This is where I put mine, just make sure your steering stops don’t pinch the wire. But really you can put it wherever you like.
Also I put a piece of clear shipping tape over the entire unit for additional water proofing

I don't keep mine permanently mounted, but when I run the Tach I just zip tie it to the GPS RAM mount on my glove box. Putting it up closer to the dash might be a better idea so you don't have to look down to see it.

I'm about to order mine. Last thing I'm installing...knock on wood lol

I was just going to seal it up and mount it to the inside of the glove box with velcro when I wasn't using it. Then if I wanted to run it just velcro mount to a spot on the Riva steering plate or around the dash as shown.

I have heard the best way to seal them was to remove a sticker on back and seal the hole behind it and then to seal the seams with some sort of glue.

How is the tto accuracy in comparison to pet tach 2100? I have the tto and it does work but thinking of buying the pet tach. They are spendy.

i tried the new tto was crap, also tried tinytach not much luck, I see a lot of people on this forum run the 2100 and hear nothing but praise, we speed all this money on trying to go fast and skimp on a quality rpm gauge
