19 FX Cruiser SVHO, very slow.

Well, first test today, a bit disppointed. 19 FX SVHO Cruiser.

Did the proper break in, let it cool. Mods are maptuner, Riva air intake and free flow. Several test during the day max speed was 72.1 at 8000 Rpms. Its feels like it still had the limiter or something is holding it back. Same mods in my 18 FX 75-76 MPH.

Any ideas? Very slow compared to my 18 FX.

Call Dean’s about modifying your ride plate

According to Riva' site, they're getting 75mph from the maptuner and ride plate at 8300 rpm. So yours sounds about right..

The riva video I saw for the Maptuner stage 1 showed the '19 FX SVHO getting in the low 80's no problem even bounced up to 84 in the video

So you've lost 3-4mph on your SVHO and the two members reporting on their 2019 FXHO have lost 4-5mph. I originally thought maybe the top loader grate on the 2019 FXHO because the 2018 FXHO doesn't have a top loader. I think both 2019s share the same ride plate. So a Riva ride plate or if Jim can advise a cut to the stock one or a cut to a Riva is better. I have a stock 2018 FXHO. 2019 FXHO ordered but won't be able to ride until middle May at least to compare.
