    Help choosing a new ski

Hey guys new to this forum. Im going to be buying a new ski in a couple months for the summer. I could use some suggestions for the right ski for me. I want something that is fast, reliable, and also comfortable for all day riding. Im going to be riding 50% of the time solo and 50% with my girlfriend. I really like the the new fx cruiser svho but i cant afford the 17,000 price tag. Any thoughts or comments would be much appreciated.

Look at the VX models then. Anything from the basic VX all the way to the GP 1800

Maybe look at a used low hour FX SVHO with extended warranty......I did...

There isnt much for used skis up here honestly. I did find a 2012 fx sho with a brand new motor but a little skeptical to tell the truth.

I have a 2016 VX Cruiser HO. Not once did I ever wish I needed trim.

But have you ever ever had a ski with trim? I see the list in your signature. I don’t use it a lot but it sure is nice to have. I use mainly when it gets rough or for top speed runs. I see no need for cruise control. Running the same speed for any period of time is boring as hell

    My 1200 SUV had it

My point is....and you could be right....I never thought having it was needed. As to cruise....I used it when my wife was on the back. It helped sometimes making the ride smoother.
