    Not taking tune

Forum member Englebert (Curtis) has a 2018 Rxpx. He put a scom on it when he bought the ski and it worked for a awhile, then it stopped working. I told him to buy a Riva tuning license, I have the maptunerX and we will flash the ski. He got the license, we did everything by the instructions, his ski (vin #) shows up on the tuner, we loaded some tunes and went to flash the ski. We tried to flash it and it would not take a tune. We put the Riva instructional video on while we flashed the ski and did everything step by step as on the video. We tried the bone stock 300 8500 tune, it did nothing. We tried a stage 2 300 + IMUK 8500 tune, it did nothing. I flashed my ski last year. It worked perfect.
What gives? Why will this ski not take a flash?

Yes, I had to do an update and it told me also that the tuner was not connected. I will try and uninstall and reinstall everything.

When you say "did nothing" maybe some pics of it doing nothing? Maybe that can help. No error code, no message?
At what point did it do nothing, did it say the tune was installed? Did not install? Did not try to install?

    Thanks

Is this the video you followed?

We did everything correct. The tunes showed that they loaded. The ski when the scom was working would run 74-75. Yesterday it would only pull 8040 RPM and 68-69 mph.
I watched the video from Riva pretty much the same. Your video says nothing about removing the fuse for the IBR. The Riva vidoe says to remove the IBR fuse?

no need to remove the iBR fuse on a 2018
I've loaded several tunes into my 2018 RXT-X 300 and never removed the iBR fuse and never had an issue.
if the maptuner isn't giving any errors and it says that the download is completed, then that 's it... it should be good.
