Thanks, no worries, yet I hope you caught my disclaimer about not having any 1st-hand experience with it.

That said, at some point you will just have to trust the professionals in the field . . . being this is a marine repair shop with a proven success record repairing SMC, better if they will warranty their repair to some degree.

Oh, and if you do go that route, sure would like to hear a long-term update sometime in the distant future

Nice!!!. Looks like an easy repair for west system if you opted to use that. The colloidal silica 501 502 line is great for the final coat. Strong stuff and great adhesion

Can only track down that rear photo of the final product. I damaged my hull pretty good. Dealer I got it from had a bodyshop so figured I couldn't go wrong. The ONLY reason I went to the dealer with it is because I had some bad vibrations going on otherwise my stepdad is a body guy and he wanted to repair the bottom. $$$$$$$!! Insurance claim. Dealer fixed it and the hole blew out first ride and again 3 more times. Finally we did it ourselves and its held up great

So if you run into any problems after riding feel free to reach out, we just used Fusor T21 from a local shop.
