    oil filter question

I have read on the forum that the oil filter on the 300 motors is an upgrade from the OEM paper filter in the 1503. I have a 2011 RXT-260. OEM filter part number is 420 956 741. The filter for the 300 motor is 420 956 744. Will the new filter fit in the 260 motor? Is is a good idea to use the newer filter if it fits?

Simple answer, Yes, its a far better filter. Won't collapse like the old ones. Heck I run it in my old 2004
