what to do for engine with intercooler that leaked
what should be done with a motor with an inter-cooler that has leaked once it is replaced and there has been salt spray in the engine. without removing the head should it be flushed? should you run a thin distilled/sale away water spray through it while running to help flush it out? run the leaky intercooler in freshwater all day and then replace? want to save motor from corrosion without pulling from ski

Had same issue once on someone else his ski.
Salt everywhere......
Replaced intercooler and after removed plugs and sprayed lots of XPS.
While cranking engine many times.
After removed injectors and sprayed down to those holes as well.
While cranking as well.
Took out TB and merged butterfly valve and shaft in WD-40 for some time.
Then installed new plugs and took it for a short ride.
Repeated this few times after riding. Especially the throttlebody.
Ski ran fine many years after!
