    Riva Gen3 intercooler just installed

Finally had time to get this gen3 installed since we have the polar vortex here in MN causing work delays. Took some time with the install while hopefully I see some gains. Dont really know what to expect as I think riva said around 20hp. I had a worx blow off on before so curious to see how this tial blowoff works. Anyone looking for used stock intercooler and worx blow off can message me. Next mod I am thinking is riva waterbox but dont know if I will see gains. Any help would be appreciated. I think riva says 15hp gain and flows better.

Looks like a nice clean install, curious on the performance gains you’ll see when it warms up.
In picture 2 I don’t see the BIG 92” flat screen!

Haha! I have an old 42" plasma on the right wall. Install went pretty smooth while had some bloody knuckles and dropped a few bolts under the motor. I am a slow mechanic as I am hoping I torqued everything right and didnt miss anything. Some of the riva instructions I didn't have to do like pull the whole pump to do the cooling upgrade hose in back. They also mentioned you had to pull the supercharger which you dont need to do either. I dont know why they put those in the directions. This has to be one of the fastest skis in the twin cities area. I will keep you posted on what gains I see.

I wish I could ride like him! I am almost 40 so I just stick to casual trail riding as I have had too many hard crashes racing when I was younger and can't miss work with injuries anymore. I have the kids on a pair of yamaha ttr125's with auto rekluse clutches and I ride a 2015 ktm 450 xcw w/street legal kit.

Should be plenty of clearance from what I see. Will definitely make sure to see how much vibration and motor movement there is when I get it in the water.

Great looking ski....and garage/shop too. I need one of those

I have the new cooler going on my GP this month too. Swapping off a brand new last last gen riva cooler with probably only 5 hours or less on it, if anyone wants it. I suppose we shall see how this kit plays with that RIVA shaft oil line over time as I have that one too. I doubt it will be an issue. Really you could get some rubber line and wrap over it just to get extra shielding against any real rubbing...not that you should have to, of course. I should post some pics of my build when its finally done this season. Just need to order a pet tach or something better than the tto. Finishing touches are all going on now.
