    Epnoc grease for pump cone

Has anyone been able to source Epnoc grease for the pump cone bearing in Canada?

I tried to order some from Riva in Florida, however they said they couldn't ship it across the border because it's deemed hazardous.

Swap it over to gear lube.

I run synthetic gear lube in all mine as well.

I presume you're referring to synthetic 75w-90? Is there a trick to get the gear lube to stay in when you're assembling things? I presume nobody has had any issues with pressure build up when using gear lube?

I only do it while the pump is out. place in a vice shaft down then fill to top of pump body. I fill the cone with grease and let it mix on it's own while running.

i get a high quality grease and mix it with synthetic gear lube to make epnoc grease. i just mix the 2 really well until it just about runs. it will just barely stay in place. this way when it heats up a little it should flow a little and stay in the bearings.

unless the grease flows slightly when its warmed up a little then the bearing will eventually run dry. the shaft and bearing spinning just flings regular grease away from them. if its so thick it cant flow back into it then it will go unlubricated.
