That's a known issue with that model. Last one I did was only stuck about the size of 2 quarters.

While you're at it, consider replacing the driveshaft holder & bearing. Rhaas has one that's made of polyurethane.

Getting all of that glue off is the hard part. Clean up the glue and salt, as well as the hull. Get a $2 epoxy kit from Harbor Freight and attach with a generous amount of epoxy.
I've done this on a few skis and it works very well.
