    RXT-X 260 RS - Fuel sensor calibration ???

Hi guys, If I fill up my tank to the max, then the top line on the fuel display does not come on... Do I need to "bend" the fuel sender float wire a bit ?? Have people done this to "calibrate" the display ??

The problem I have sometimes is the pump nozzle will shut off before the tank is full. With some gas pumps I have to "burp" the tank with the pump nozzle multiple times to get all of the bars on the gage to show. I wouldn't attempt to modify the gage since I don't believe it is a very accurate device to begin with.

I bent mine, now its spot on throughout the range. By spot on I mean if it's showing 4 bars and I do a fillup it will take 30 liters +/- 1L to 2L, it's very predictable and I'm never worried what I really have in the tank.

I've never seen the 9th ON, I bent mine to make the range accurate.
