grate craked
well I was finishing the skeggs when I looked at my grate and found what I thought was just dirt but it was a crack just before the last bolt hole at the back of the grate
I dont know how it happened as I have never even had it off, I am just glad I found it so now it is off I have epoxied it up now I am going to try to true it up with the ride plate and I thought I would sharpen the rails on the grate also
anything else I should do to it while it is off I dont think the Riva one is better than the stock on a RXT or am I wrong I can get one overnighted if it is the way to go on a RXT

I have seen a couple stock grates crack just like you described. If you look at the Riva grate is is alot thicker in that area. Put the Riva one on and put the 2 extra bolts in to make it bullet proof.

Don't do anything to the stock grate. If you try to sharpen the grate or take material off, it will break when you are riding
