Jim's Performance Ride plate mod
Could those that have performed the mod kindly share pics of the installation from several angles?
New members/new Ultra 250X owners: This plate mod, to date, seems to have shown the best performance according to fellow members. Jim's Performance is located in FL and you can ship your plate to his shop or have him order a new one for you as i understand.

When will Riva be coming out with a ride plate? I am new to modding PWC's and am unfamiliar with most parts. I live on the West Coast, so I am assuming it would be fairly expensive to ship and I wouldn't want to wait for the entended turn around time.

Just put it on and ride !!!!
seal it with silicone and let her rip.
I recommend this mod highly, I have a top speed of 69.5 MPH and I have not done any waterbox mods.
Pump wedge and ride plate only.
I will get the new prop if/when it ever surfaces and should be 70-71 MPh with a full factory warranty still in force on the ski.

Kawai, what kind of rpms are you getting? I have done the exact same thing to mine and I am only getting a top speed of 67.6 turning 7770 rpms. You are in a warmer climate than I am here is SC.
Mine has never come close to the speeds that you are getting, I have 25 hours on it now.

I will double check just to be sure, but I think my RPM's are in the 7800's.
I have ridden with Ultra250TN in Tennessee and his ski is even faster, so these speeds are for real.
PS, I also have done a homemade Free Ram Air mod to allow more air in.....

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think Jim charges $225.00 for his mod.
Does anyone know what Riva will charge for their rideplate?
I'm holding out to see if the Riva plate is faster and what their price will be.
