    FX SHO not starting

Hey guys, new here, Tried doing a search on the forum here but cannot find the answer to my problem, maybe someone here can help me out.. I got a 2011 yamaha FX SHO, and we were having ETV issues, we pulled the entire intake assembly, tried repairing the ETV put it back on the jet ski, and when we tried to start, the jet ski would start at all! we checked all connections and everything is plugged in tight. after we checked spark there was no spark at all!! but before we were getting spark.. could it be the throttle body itself causing no spark? or could it be another issue? please help

    thanks!

I think if the pcm sees the throttle open any at all it kills the spark. May need to adjust the TPS. Maybe an expert can weigh in, I have a 2012 SHO, but I have not had to work ok..i n it much at all.

the tps is built in the ETV right?? so theres no way to adjust (i think)?

the yamaha throttle bodies are basically a sealed unit and once they get water in them its f**ked.

have you checked your intercooler for leaks? and when you had it apart did you check the throttle body adaptor for any tears?

so if the throttle body is slightly open it wont fire, if the throttle body has a fault, 99% of the time its due to water ingress.

what is this 'ETV repair' you speak of? how did you repair it? from what i remember when they are pulled apart they need to be calibrated.
