    RXT 255 pump questions

So my sister gave me her 2008 RXT 255 a few months back. Iíve been slowly going through it trying to get things fixed and do some servicing. Iíve already had the supercharger rebuilt and replaced a few other parts. Now I have some questions concerning the pump and nozzle. When she had it, she always had a fly board attached to it. I removed the adapter plate but now Iím stuck with not having the hardware to install the pump and nozzle. Iíve looked up the schematics and they show a stud being installed that the pump is installed on to with nuts. Is there any reason I canít use the hardware I removed or is the stud required? Also, according to the schematic, there is a yellow reducer between the pump and the housing. Mine looks kind of green and I donít know if there is a yellow and a green one with different diameters, or if mine is the right one. Iíve attached some pictures for reference. Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi mate

Do you have the service manual? It will show the factory way it was put together which may help.

Also, if you are familiar with partshark.com, that will also show you each nut and bolt and how itís all meant to go together.

Thanks for the help davus. I found a manual on seadoomanuals.net and I also checked out Partshark. That's a great site with good views. The manual says I should have to green reducer so I'm good there. Now I just need to order some bolts. Now hopefully I did't damage anything from letting the driveshaft hang when I took the pump off...

I highly doubt you would have damaged anything just letting the shaft hang.

They have a fair amount of play in them.
