    Parting out my 4 tec big bore stroker motor and reflashed ecu

    I'm parting out my big bore stroker motor after 2 machine shop screw up 2 blocks and cost me thousands of dollars pictures of blocks are here too. I'm covering shipping in the us motor ran for less than 5 minutes had 160 psi compression which is way too high. Everything is for 06 and up was in my 07 RXP

    Carrillo rods $650 shipped
    4mm stroker crank done by falacon $800 shipped
    Head has rev valves,springs and retainers rocker shaft drilled to 3mm for higher revving and has 837 629 cam $1,100 shipped
    E
    Les Cooke reflashed ecu with key $500 shipped

    How did they screw up a darton sleeve install ???

    Look at the bottom picture that was the first time by a person on here that runs a performance shop. The top picture is not good but second shop didn't put the sleeves all the way down and it has a lip at the bottom.

    Holy crap I just noticed the fuck up they should cover all that, the sleeve is in the wrong cylinder .

    I don't have a picture of the hole thing it has the right sleeve they just cut out the hole block so water and oil mix together. Sent it back they said it could be fixed waited another month. Got it back and when I put it together the side of the block cracked. By then I couldn't challenge the credit card transaction so I was done.

    By the way good luck with your build I hope it goes better than mine did

    Wow that sucks man, they thought the timing chain opening was a water passage?

    I think they just made a mistake when they machine it but was a big mistake. I couldn't believe it when I got it back

    Thanks my block should be done soon but not looking to derail this but if you look at the chain guide section by the top they machined the crap out of it to fit the wrong sleeve , if you look at the other pictures u posted you can see the sleeve you got installed by the chai n actually belongs facing the other way toward the center cylinder thatís why it was missing coolant and oil .
