2018 GP1800 Flush Hose Kinked Fix?

I just bought a 2018 GP 1800 and while trying to flush the ski with the garden hose the Temp Alarm started beeping. I immediately shut off the water and ski. I traced it back to a kinked flush hose when it enters the plastic tee at the bottom of the hull. I tried re routing but it still wants to kink. I removed the nut on the flush bracket and got rid of most of the kink. I started the ski and water came started also coming out the side of the ski (this didn't happen before) and the ski ran fine on the garden hose. this is definitely a MFG design flaw.

Does anyone have a Good fix for this? I don't want to leave the hose loose in the hull. I was thinking a 90 degree elbow at the bottom would fix it 100%. does anyone know what size the flush hose is?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Replace the hose with a slightly longer hose so it has a more gradual bend in it

Pull the flush hose, cut the kink out of it, and wrap it with some heat shrink to stiffen it.

Thanks for your input. I have the supplies from the hardware store to correct the flush hose issue. Once I install over the weekend I will post a picture of how I corrected the factory defect. I asked my dealer about this issue and they said they have only seen one other kinked flush hose. I told him the forums tell a different story.

Yes, forums do tell a different story, both my son's and also my GP flush hoses are kinked like the angle is wrong coming off the splitter. I think rotating it may fix it, but will have to shorten hose also.

I fixed it! I cut the kink out of the flush hose and added a piece of 1/2" hose and 90 degree elbow with stainless hose clamps. It works Awesome. Now it has water flowing out of all three cooling ports and the jet pump. Click image for larger version.
