I’m at 88 with a 2010 Fz sho
But I have been doing lots of fine tuning for years
The parts that give it speed
Built motor
Custom valves and springs with titanium retainers
Ho cams
18 pound et wheel
Rear exit exhaust
Free flow air
Watson racing intercooler
Extra cooling
R&D grate
VX ride plate ( modded for speed)
Or Svho ride plate also modded
160 liner
Riva 160 race pump with svho shaft and
Solas Svho 13/18 depitched to 13/17
Motec ecu

The FX is a different ball game and the speed wont come easy or safely.87 is very doable but theirs maybe 2-3 guys on this forum that have been 90 an FX and I can tell you from first hand experience that your typical mod path is not going to go that speed consistently. There are a few different variables and ways to go about it but no matter which way you cut it you will need to push what you can do safely pump gasoline to get speed out of that hull.Either a ET24 wheel on 93 or a ET19 wheel on E85 would do 90 in that hull.Going 87 is pretty attainable with the ET19 on 93 but regardless of the route rpms would still need to be atleast 9300-9500rpms to do that speed fairly consistently all year around.
