2019 GP1800R Ride plate available to purchase?

Is the 2019 GP1800R Factory rideplate available anywhere yet?

Yes, I got two intake grates and two ride plates modified by Jim already. They are cheap too, less than $90 for the plates. yamahapartshouse

Has anyone been able to have those side by side with the riva plates for comparison?

If someone can measure the overall length of the new Yamaha plate I have a Riva plate off the ski right now. We could do a picture comparison

I have posted a few photos from the pre-production GP1800R shown at October 2018 World Finals races in Arizona.

It's cheaper than riva's but looks very similiar, maybe Jim will be able to chime in on smaller differences if there are any. Lol can't imagine Riva feels too good about this though! Regardless the 17-18 plates are way too short! a must to upgrade

    The plates look almost identical...
Riva sales on plates for the GP1800 will for sure drop.

Jim, can you tell us why Yamaha went skegless on the 2019 FX plate? And does your '19 FX cut retain the skeg cutout?

I remember when the Gps came out, I immediately noticed the plate and grate, thinking they would eventually add upgraded ones and dub it the r, you think maybe Yamaha purposefully left of better parts so as to have a little more to offer in the future? I mean this is the first year model for this hull!
