    Help! px300 not good final speed!

    My 16 px300, is not reaching good final speed, would like help!

    with impeller skat track 15/19 reached 77mph at 8800 rpm in riva stage 4 9200rpm maptuner tune
    with impeller skat track 15/21 reached 79mph at 8460 rpm in with even tune
    I increased the final ignition map to 36 degrees up to 8600rpm coming up 81mph with 15/21
    water temp 77 F degrees
    air temp 82F degrees

    mods in my ski:
    sc et142mm
    supertech spring and retainers
    walbro fuel pump
    kanaflex intake 4"
    imuk
    rear exhaust
    open water box
    vt11 injectors
    blow off valve
    wide band for afr view (12.3 in wot)
    skat track 15/19 pitched for 15/21

    I just purchased a datalogger but I could not make a file yet

    Maybe your supercharger is slipping? Can you check boost numbers

    Strange numbers for that RPM for sure. My px260 with 161mm Skat 15/18 goes 81 on Garmin at 8800, so less pitch but way more speed at same RPM as yours. If those numbers are cluster numbers thats even stranger.

    I would put back the stock impeller on before trying anything else.


    On another topic, what fuel are you running with that big charger that you feel it's ok to run 36 degrees of timing

    I agree with Conner check slip, had to set mine a couple times before it held. Do you have a boost guage? Ans how much boost at 8900? Something is definetly not right, my 16 Px with the 142 before dialing in the hull and pump. I'm seeing 87 dash at 8950 if I recall been a couple months now. I'm at 500asl and spinning a 13/19 solas bent to 13/16.5. My afrs at wot are 12.5-12.7Click image for larger version.

    If your shooting for top speed the Skat is not the way to go, those numbers seem about right. A stock prop should put you about 84gps at 8700 if you can spin that high. I’d go with the newer 13/18 solas if your chasing top speed. Shoot for 12 afr at WOT.

    in action it does not reach 9000rpm, but stopped in the water the last time I saw 23psi at 9000rpm, but I can carry out new tests

    Here in Brazil we only have 1 type of premium gasoline, it has 87octanas but it has 25% alchool

    my ski does not seem to have the strength to push, I'll test the charger or check for leaks in the intake manifold and put a gauge turbo press


    Do you think I should leave with how much ignition in the final map? it's 36 degrees, I'll leave anyway?

    My oem impeller is broke
    And here brazil, solas cost 2600brl
    I'll try to use skat for a while longer
