    Pet tach 21000dxr need help

    Was up gh community i just recieved my pettach 21000dxr and it came with no instructions 😑 how do you install on a svho motor and how do you set it to read rpms

    Just cut the clip off the wire and wrap it a few times around the coil then in a X pattern and run the wire to where your going to mount the tach. Use 4:1 for reading your rpm. 4=4 stroke 1= single cylinder
    Also use a zip tie to keep the wire on the coil

    You can also install a different wire if you need a longer one.

    How did you do your bars? That looks like a stock bar with a umi pad

    It is, stock bars with 1 inch aluminum extensions on each side and then 140mm odi grips much better then stock

    Sorry for taking this thread a bit sideways, but I just wanted to let you guys know that if you search on Amazon for "clamp on handle bar grips" you can find generic grips that seem identical to ODI for MUCH less $! I got 2 pair for $8.99!!

    It it is very accurate, maybe someone here at greenhulk can get you the instructions or maybe google it because the tach does a few things that can be helpful to you

    I’m pretty sure I have the instruction sheet laying around here somewhere. And yes this tach is dead on accurate. It’s the best one out there
